Helping families carry the weight of infant medical hardship.

Inspired by our journey with our own young champion, our mission is to support families with infants facing medical challenges and developmental disabilities, as well as families grieving the loss of their young champion. Through care packages, financial assistance, and encouragement, we help families feel seen, supported, and not alone as they travel a difficult road.

Built by a family still in the fight.

After Nolan's medical journey changed everything, this foundation began forming around a simple goal: help other parents feel supported while they are trying to survive the hardest season of their lives.

What we do

Support that meets families where they are.

The final programs can be adjusted by the board, but the site is structured around the support model discussed throughout the planning conversations.

1

Direct Family Assistance

Provide practical support for meals, gas, transportation, lodging, care items, urgent bills, or other pressures connected to a child's medical crisis.

2

Community Fundraising

Host dinners, tournaments, sponsor campaigns, and local gatherings that turn generosity into real help for families.

3

Encouragement and Guidance

Help parents feel less alone by offering encouragement, plain-language direction, and connection to people who understand the burden.

Why it matters

Medical hardship affects the whole family.

When a child is hospitalized or medically fragile, parents are often forced to balance fear, bills, work, transportation, siblings, medical jargon, and constant decisions all at once.

Young Champion Foundation is designed to stand in that gap with practical help and a community willing to rally around families during the hardest stretch.

Low-barrier attendance

Events can use low ticket prices so families and community members show up, while sponsorships carry the fundraising weight.

Sponsor-driven fundraising

Local businesses can sponsor the dinner, food, dessert, cornhole boards, prizes, tables, and family support funds.

Transparent stewardship

Donation language can honestly explain direct support, modest admin needs, and board-approved policies.

Upcoming events
